Jan - Registered Dental Hygienist
Jan grew up in Manhattan Kansas and graduated from Wichita State University. She has called Lawrence home for almost 20 years. She and her husband, Don, have 3 children; Donnie, Andrew and Katie, a daughter-in-law, Rebecca and granddaughter, Kaylee. In her free time you will find her curled up on the couch with a blanket and a good book.
Melissa - Registered Dental Hygienist
Melissa is originally from Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. She moved to Lawrence with her husband, Derrick, to go to graduate school at KU. They fell in love with Lawrence and have been here ever since. They have a lovely daughter, Ainsley who keeps them busy. Melissa enjoys reading and loves playing her flute when she can. She looks forward to working with you and knows you will enjoy the experience Legends Dental offers all of our patients.
Stephanie - Registered Dental Hygienist
Stephanie has been a registered dental hygienist for over 30 years. Working with patients to attain dental health and feel confident with their smile is important to Stephanie. She graduated with honors from Wichita State University and has practiced with her husband, Clay Beshore, for over 20 years. She has three adult children, Chelsea, Allegra and Isaac. Stephanie is active in her church and loves spending time with family. Additional hobbies include traveling, hiking, skiing, biking and reading.
Jenny - Care Coordinator
Please meet Jenny one of our care coordinators. Jenny has been in the field of dentistry to help change people’s lives. Jenny has personally experienced and been treated for headache and jaw joint pain with splint therapy. This has drastically changed Jenny’s life, and she enjoys living pain free. Jenny is married to her high school sweetheart, Mike, and has a daughter, Lyndee. Jenny feels very proud to call Legends Dental her home. She can’t wait to meet you!!
Shanelle - Care Coordinator
Shanelle is one of our amazing treatment coordinators and has been with Legends Dental since 2010. Shanelle has been a dental assistant since 2007. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and son, Noah. Her family loves to spend most of their time at the lake. Shanelle feels the most exciting part of her career is the life changing work she can provide all of our patients.
Cindi - Business Office Coordinator
Cindi is a recent graduate of Baker University and has her Bachelor’s in Business Management. She has managed to deliver exceptional Customer Service for more than 20 years. Cindi is the mother of two and enjoys staying active by volunteering in her community, participating in recreational sports, kayaking and traveling.
Dawn - Care Coordinator
Dawn has been in the field since 2005 and having learned so much from the Doctors at Legends Dental has been an amazing experience. She loves dentistry because she is given the opportunity to be part of improving her patient’s quality of life every day. She has been married for 15 years; has two wonderful daughters and a menagerie of animals. She is a crafter of all sorts including metal smithing, beadwork, scrapbooking and photography. She believes the relationship she develops as she works with our patients is the most important aspect of what she does. She looks forward to developing a meaningful relationship with you!
Brenda L - Business Office Coordinator
Brenda grew up in a military family which allowed her to live and travel to many interesting places. She currently lives in Lawrence, KS, having moved here by way of Columbia, MO. Her family is the most important thing to her and she has been blessed with four children and one grandson. When she is not working, she enjoys weekends adventures checking out the local activities, rummaging through antique shops or trying out a new creative project. Brenda feels very fortunate to be a member of the Legends Dental team and brings with her 30 years of clinical and administrative experience.
