Insurance

As a courtesy to you, we will submit claims to your insurance company. Because we believe your oral health is important, we encourage you to make your decision based on our treatment recommendations, and not by what your insurance company will cover. Allowing them to dictate what treatment options you choose may require the need to lower your overall treatment outcome.

Why are we doing this? It’s simple... Dental Insurance was not designed to cover advancements available in Dentistry today. Dental Insurance came out in 1960 and the annual maximum benefit was $1000. Today, the benefit remains roughly the same. Dental insurance is designed only for “one-tooth-dentistry” and not for patients who have comprehensive needs. Our patients have come to expect the best from us and our doctors will not make compromises when it come to your care. This is exactly what insurance companies ask us to do.

We want you to use your Insurance benefit, in fact, we want you to maximize whatever benefit you have and we will assist you in doing so… but realize what you have. Dental Insurance is there to assist you… not pay for 100% of your dental needs.

Our goals are simple: We want you to be healthy, we want you to keep your natural teeth, and we don’t want any surprises.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. We do our best to estimate what your dental insurance will cover for each procedure; however this is no guarantee of payment. Your insurance company works for you so it may be best for you to contact them personally. If your insurance company will reimburse us directly you will be responsible for your out of pocket costs for that days procedures. However, if they will not, you will need to pay the full cost of the procedure. After we file your dental insurance claim, you will receive the reimbursement check through the mail. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan but this must be done prior to the day of the procedure.
